Present your best self
This version of yourself could only be 10% on a given day if that’s all can do – that’s okay.
Give the best of that 10%. However, work towards improving on it to get to 100%.

Present your best self
This version of yourself could only be 10% on a given day if that’s all can do – that’s okay.

You have the power over how you complete your tasks for work. Are you seriously gonna allow a lawnmower and a weedwhacker to negatively impact your work?
I doubt it.
You know you have these tasks to complete and so you will find a way to get it done despite the noise around you.
Learn to bend and not break. Learn to pivot when your situation takes a sudden turn.
Go for those goals and live your dreams. The dreams probably won’t pop on the first or second try and you may burn a certain vision of your dreams by allowing it to stay on the same rotating surface.
Our blackness goes way beyond our ancestors being enslaved. It goes way beyond the enslaved mentality. It goes way beyond our complexion. It is about honouring the past of hurt but it is also about embracing the talent, the artistry, the brilliance and the overall beauty of people who are black.
We are Queens and we are Kings and we are beautiful.
We must teach our children about more than just a laundry list of iconic black people. We owe it to them.
Never become lazy because you know that other options are there. Work towards the first option first and then … if that doesn’t work, you consider the others.
Believing in yourself is necessary and important. That belief is part of the reason you will jump. If you doubt your every being, you won’t ever move.
Multitasking is not efficient. All it does is segment the fullness of your attention and leaves you attempting to complete multiple tasks at once. If you focus on one thing at a time, your efficiency and productivity will improve.
As we start 2020, let us not focus on the negatives that slowed our progress. Let us, instead, focus on how we use trauma to push us into greater dealings.
May this new year find you or direct you in and towards greatness. May this new year see us conwuering fears, getting over hurdles and brushing that dirt off.
Let us not become victims of our hurt. Let us, instead, be triumphant.
Happy New Year.
Pain, in its many forms, is inevitable.
What we do with the experience of pain will determine how we move forward.
Eggs fall and break all the time. You decide if you’re gonna leave the mess or if you’re gonna clean it up and try again.
In the end, you are the one who will have to jump. No one can jump for you. Yes, your encouragers can jump with you but unlocking your awesomeness is your responsibility.
